Artonis is built on the belief that art can belong to everyone’s life - not only to those who already have specialist knowledge or the means to own it.

The platform gathers and organises the records of artists, artworks, exhibitions and the connections between them, alongside editorial writing that gives readers the context: when a work was made, what it grew out of, and why it matters.

We begin with Vietnamese art - modern through contemporary, including Vietnamese artists at home and abroad - because it is the part that has been least documented and least interpreted, despite deserving to be far better known.

Artonis does not impose a single standard of judgement, and does not authenticate or value artworks. The platform operates independently of any gallery’s commercial interests; editorial content is kept separate from sponsorship, and every commercial partnership is clearly disclosed.

By combining content, data, technology and community, Artonis works towards an open and trustworthy shared record of Vietnamese art - so that art is no longer a distant world, but a source of knowledge, inspiration and connection.
